Don Spike was arrested and subjected to a drug test.
Don Spike was apprehended around 8 p.m. on September 26 at a hotel in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. Police came on the scene with a warrant and recovered 30 grams of methamphetamine. Spike later tested positive for a drug test performed while he was being detained. This month, police were investigating another person on identical accusations, and testing revealed that Spike had previously misused methamphetamine on many occasions. Additional information was not available on whether Spike is now or has previously been addicted to drugs, or whether he has experienced legal difficulty for similar accusations.

Don was born on January 24, 1977, and is a well-known singer, songwriter, and performer. He made his debut as Kim Bum-arranger soo’s on MBC’s I Am a Singer in 1996. He was also a meat expert on television series such as One Night Food Trip, Dining Out Day, and Real Men 2. However, in 2019, he switched careers and founded Doguo, followed by restaurant brands Low & Slow and Burger N Burger’s. In June of this year, he married his fiancée Sung Ha-yoon.
He posted his wedding invitation on Instagram with the caption:
“Hello, my name is Kim Min Soo, and I’m now marketing as Don Spike.” A handwritten letter is tough for me since I have lousy handwriting.”

Spike initially confirmed his romance in January 2021, and the couple has been dating for almost a year, according to insiders.
