DeMarcus Covington’s wife, Natasha Covington, married the football coach in 2015. Before their wedding, the pair had been together for five years. DeMarcus Covington, the Patriots’ new defensive coordinator, has been with the NFL since 2017. He started his coaching career in 2012 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and then coached Ole Miss for two seasons. Before joining the Patriots, DeMarcus was the defensive coordinator and defensive line coach at Eastern Illinois. He also held the latter title at UT Martin in 2015.
Covington began as a coaching assistant with the Patriots and worked his way up the organizational ladder. He was promoted to defensive line coach in 2020 after being named outside linebackers coach in 2019. Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick has previously played DeMarcus, describing him as a very bright young man who has fought hard to earn his place.
Meet Demarcus Covington. Wife, Natasha Covington
DeMarcus Covington’s wife, Natasha Covington, has fully embraced the football lifestyle. She has been seen multiple times at Gillette Stadium, where Natasha takes both of their boys to attend games. In December, she posted a video of her two boys waiting for their father on the sidelines to embrace him. She said in the caption, “Loving the life and the family we’ve created, this is my Roman Empire.”
Natasha, who was born on September 29, 1986, originally said that she graduated from the Winonah International School of Cosmetology. However, she has dabbled in areas other than cosmetology. She is an interior designer who manages the firm Covington Comforts. The firm is based in Boston and prides itself on providing luxurious comfort. It supports bespoke designs, and the firm also has an Instagram account. However, the account last posted in 2020, and the company’s website is no longer functional.
Natasha and DeMarcus, a football couple, were married on July 4, 2015. In 2020, she wrote a heartfelt post on her fifth wedding anniversary, noting that her life has never been the same since she married DeMarcus and thanking him for making an active effort to make her happy. A handful of Natasha’s posts mention that the two started dating in 2010, and by 2012, DeMarcus was acquainted with Natasha’s family. She had uploaded a photo of her father with DeMarcus, captioned “future father-in-law.” Natasha’s Instagram postings stretch back to when DeMarcus was a coach at Ole Miss. Mrs. Covington has been a vital part of her husband’s transition from college football to the NFL.
Demarcus and Natasha Have Two Kids
The New England Patriots’ new head coach has two sons with his wife, Natasha. The couple became first-time parents in 2017. Natasha and DeMarcus welcomed their first child, Cassius Christopher Covington, into the world on February 8. Natasha posted a photo of Cassius on Instagram only a few weeks after he was born. 2017 could not have gone better for the pair. It was also the year DeMarcus made his NFL debut with the Patriots.
The couple had their second child, Cayman Covington, in May 2021. Natasha posted a beautiful photo of Cassius kissing his little brother a month after Cayman was born. She uploaded the post on Parent’s Day as a nice homage to being a parent to two children. Natasha, an interior designer, is often seen arranging the nicest birthday themes for her two boys.
Natasha had a jungle-themed party for Cassius’ fifth birthday, while Cayman’s first was “Fresh One,” which might be a reference to the American series The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The two lads have been spotted multiple times attending games at Gillette Stadium. Natasha has published various family-related postings throughout the years, the most recent being on Christmas.
