He also wrote ‘A Life in the Theatre,’ ‘The Woods,’ and ‘Mr. Happiness,’ all in 1977. In 1980, Mamet wrote a revised version of ‘Lakeboat.’ He also wrote the plays ‘Edmond’ and ‘The Frog Prince’ in 1982, as well as ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ in 1983.
