David Lynch was born on January 20, 1946, in New York City. David Keith Lynch is his given name. He was born in Missoula, Montana, United States. He is an American citizen. David was the son of Donald Walton Lynch and Edwina “Sunny” Lynch. He has two siblings: John, a brother, and Martha, a sister. On his father’s side, he is descended from Scottish, Irish, and English ancestors, while on his mother’s side, he is descended from Finnish and German ancestors. His family frequently relocated following the USDA’s assignment of his father. He was brought up as a Presbyterian. He is of white ethnic origin and was born under the sign of Aquarius.
