Keke Palmer of True Jackson, VP fame has been chastised once again by her boyfriend Darius Daulton Jackson for the attire she wore to Usher’s Las Vegas performance earlier this month. Following criticism on Twitter, Jackson responded:
We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.
This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe.

Palmer was spotted embracing Usher, slow-dancing, and singing along to his There Goes My Baby during the July 4 event in a translucent black dress over a matching thong bodysuit. Jackson previously said in response to a videotape of this incident:
“It’s the outfit…you’re a mom.”
Following this, netizens chastised the 29-year-old fitness enthusiast and social media celebrity for publicly humiliating his girlfriend and referring to her as his “wife.”

The internet lambasted Keke Palmer’s boyfriend as soon as Darius Daulton Jackson doubled back on his statement regarding her wardrobe during Usher’s Las Vegas performance. While some attributed his statements to “little man syndrome,” another stated:
“This tweet is even more embarrassing to your family than the outfit was.”

Darius Daulton Jackson and Keke Palmer first met in 2021 during a Memorial Day celebration in May 2021. They made their romance public in August 2021. However, in March 2022, the couple erased each other’s images from social media, sparking rumors of their split. While none of them acknowledged anything, the couple had their first kid, a boy called Leodis, in February of this year.

Palmer told Harper’s Bazaar in March 2020, before meeting Jackson, why she prefers to keep her personal life secret.

Palmer discussed her choice to go public with her relationship with Jackson on The Tamron Hall Show in November 2021. “It became more difficult to hide,” she said of her decision to upload images of herself with Jackson at the time. “We spend so much time together, and he is truly my closest friend, that it just becomes a thing where I’m not going to hide something that makes me happy.”
“It’s not going to be everything you see, my job is my job,” Palmer said, “but at the end of the day, this is somebody important to me, so why not?”
