Brittany Cherry, a DWTS season 31 behind-the-scenes choreographer, married her long-time boyfriend Bryan Agnew on September 18, 2022. The wedding of the 28-year-old professional dancer took place at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California. Bryan Agnew is a Netflix Business Affairs employee.
The wedding ceremony of Cherry and Agnew was attended by 80 people, including Jenna Johnson, a professional dancer who has been on DWTS and So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). Several DWTS colleagues were unable to attend Cherry’s wedding due to the program’s camera blocking practices since season 31 of the show is planned to debut on September 19, the day after her wedding.

Brittany Cherry marries Bryan J Agnew: Everything you need to know about the DWTS choreographer
Bryan J Agnew has been a member of Netflix’s Business Affairs team since 2018. The Los Angeles native formerly worked as an assistant for United Talent Agency, according to his LinkedIn page. Agnew worked as a bartender for Hospitality Unlimited Inc. and The Fat Dog for 10 months before joining the entertainment business. His first job postings were for a service expert at Talking Rain Beverage in Preston, Washington, and a recruiter at Insight Global (Bellevue). He graduated from Kentwood High School and subsequently attended Bellevue College, where he earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.), Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies degree. He subsequently went on to acquire an LLB from the University of Washington.
Bryan originally met Brittany Cherry via their common buddy Stefano Langone. The latter was Agnew’s roommate and was a band member on DWTS (2017) during Cherry’s choreography. Although Cherry and Agnew did not have the first click, they subsequently reunited and fell in love. According to People, Agnew proposed to the dancer in 2020 “during a trip through Malibu Canyon.”
Brittany Cherry of DWTS discusses her wedding gown, ceremony, and more.
Brittany Cherry has appeared not only on DWTS but also on SYTYCD and Shakira-Nick Jonas’ Come Dance With Me. She was also one of the dancers in Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud song video. She stated to People magazine during her wedding why the pair opted to wear basic clothing on their big day:
“I’m a ballroom dancer, and I’ve spent my whole life wearing these lovely gowns and outfits.” I wanted something classic, beautiful, tasteful, and not too decorated. I discovered a very gorgeous outfit and thought to myself, ‘Oh, this is great, but I’m just not sure.'”
She went on:
“So I go live my life — fast forward to when I’m really dress shopping and I go to four different stores and I see this identical dress at a number of shops and I’m like, ‘Oh it’s so gorgeous.'” I return to Kinsey James [in West Hollywood] and try on every outfit I can think of. I was still thinking, ‘Ah, that dress is so lovely,’ so I went with the dress I found a year before.”
