Currie Graham, a Canadian actor, played Chadwick Benton in 1923. He worked as Banner Creighton’s attorney but was previously Donald Whitfield’s. The oil tycoon asked him to free his henchman, Banner. Banner had previously attacked the Dutton family as a result of a feud with Jacob Dutton. In the ambush, John Dutton Sr. was murdered, while Jacob, Elizabeth, and Jack were wounded.
The injuries to Jack and Elizabeth were minor, but it seemed for a while that Jacob might not survive the assault since his wounds were deep and lethal. Banner Creighton was the mastermind of the Dutton massacre. Banner was ultimately captured for his crimes in episode 7 of 1923, but plans for his bail were already underway. Donald Whitfield and Chadwick Benton are doing all they can to get him out of jail and resume the assault of the Dutton property.
Chadwick Benton is kind and lovable. Like everyone in “1923.”@paramountplus pic.twitter.com/X97HKfXQ9j

What is 1923 About?
The year is 1923, and the bulk of the United States of America has been ravaged by the Great Depression. The Duttons had challenges in Montana not just because of the Great Depression, but also because other Montanans sought to take over the Dutton ranch. Around this period, their major adversaries were a shepherd-turned-henchman called Banner Creighton and a rich oil billionaire named Donald Whitfield.
According to the show’s official synopsis:
“1923, a Yellowstone origin tale, introduces a new generation of the Dutton family as they explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, catastrophic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all afflicted the mountain west and the Duttons who call it home.”
The series also stars Julia Schlaepfer as Alexandra, Brandon Sklenar as Spencer Dutton, Jerome Flynn as Banner Creighton, Darren Mann as Jack Dutton, and Aminah Nieves as Teonna Rainwater, in addition to Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton and Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton.
