Creed Bratton began his career as a wandering musician before embarking on a global journey. In 1966, he joined a band as lead guitarist with Warren Entner, Rick Coonce from the United States, and Kenny Fukumoto. After creating a band, they submitted a tape to P. F. Sloan and Steve Barri, producers/songwriters. Fortunately, they loved it and formed The Grass Roots.
Following that, the trio proceeded to produce successful singles in the United States. Midnight Confessions became an unforgettable hit song for them. He also co-wrote “Beatin’ Round the Bush,” “No Exit,” and “Hot Bright Lights,” as well as “Dinner for Eight” and “House of Stone.” Let’s Live for Today, Feelings, Golden Grass, and Lovin’ Things were the group’s subsequent albums. He released three solo albums between 2001 and 2002.
