This month, Netflix will debut a completely new culinary program, Cook at All Costs. The show’s new premise will enable participants to bid on materials and prepare delectable meals for celebrity guest judges. The debut episode of Cook at All Costs, hosted by Jordan Andino, will be broadcast on Netflix on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 3.01 a.m. ET.
According to the official summary of the reality TV show:
“Cook everything.” Costs are a Canadian competitive culinary reality show in which three home chefs bid on ingredients to prepare meals that would satisfy celebrity guest judges — and win the money in their bank.”
It goes on:
“This one-of-a-kind, high-stakes auction-style culinary competition asks if costly ingredients necessarily equal superior meals or whether simple components may become a formula for success.”
A panel of famous chefs will appear on Cook at All Costs.
Three participants were offered $25,000 in the Cook at All Costs season 1 teaser. Their task is to bid on ingredients with the money they have been provided. According to the show’s theme, the participants should save money by replacing costly ingredients with less expensive ones. Only time will tell if the chefs will be able to convert ordinary ingredients into delectable meals or whether they would need fancy goods to do so.
The narrator explained in the trailer:
“Three home chefs will have $25,000 in their bank and will have to bid on all of their supplies in a high-stakes, auction-packed cook-off.” Home chefs may spend a lot of money on the finest ingredients, conserve money for the fundamentals, or take a chance at a surprise. Finally, the winner will walk away with all of the money in their bank.”
Finally, the funds remaining after the bidding procedure will be sent to the winner’s account. The winner will be chosen by a team of renowned chefs, who will also be in charge of creating mystery boxes filled with “ingredient temptations.”
