Cohutta Lee Grindstaff, a Challenge alum, is now engaged. He proposed to his longtime girlfriend Katelyn Corley on Thanksgiving Eve. The pair have been together for almost three years. Cohutta shared the news on social media, along with multiple images of him and his now-fiancée Katelyn showing off her engagement ring. It was the “easiest yes” of Katelyn’s life. Several of his MTV program co-stars congratulated the newlyweds on their great news.

Katelyn Corley describes herself as a “bead artisan” on Instagram. She produces beaded bracelets and earrings and often shares her works on social media. Corley also works as a hair and makeup artist. Corley is an Alabama native. According to her LinkedIn page, she graduated from the University of Alabama’s College of Communication and Information Sciences with a degree in public relations. She also holds minors in computer science and psychology.
She started her job as a bartender at Cumberland Hospitality Group. Corley presently works at SCP Health as a clinical recruiter. She also works as a real estate agent in Montana with Yellowstone Brokers. Corley and her now-fiancé, Cohutta, also co-own a commercial and residential construction firm. Katelyn is an animal lover who spends her leisure time hiking and traveling.

Cohutta was born and reared in Northern Georgia’s Southern Appalachian Mountains. According to his official website, cohuttalee.com, he is also in the construction business and has been working on some fantastic building projects in all parts of the industry for the last 15 years. Cohutta made her television debut on MTV’s The Real World: Sydney and then featured in four seasons of The Challenge. Cohutta, a fan favorite, then returned for season 2 of All-Stars. On the episode, he worked alongside Casey Cooper.
However, his time on the program was cut short when Casey realized she was pregnant during the shooting. Cohutta had to depart the program because Casey was disqualified. Cohutta was removed from the game before the sixth elimination. Cohutta said during a confessional interview on the All Stars 2 show that certain things in life are “greater than The Challenge.” Cohutta returned to the Challenge All-Stars franchise after a five-year absence. He also took part in The Island, The Ruins, Free Agents, and Battle of the Bloodlines. Cohutta had dated Challenge competitors Nany González and KellyAnne Judd before meeting Katelyn, but the relationships ended abruptly. In a 2015 interview with People, Cohutta acknowledged breaking up with Nany and “possibly breaking her heart,” as Nany “didn’t take it very well.”
Nany spoke up about her sadness at the time, telling the outlet:
“It pains me now that Cohutta convinced me that it would work in real life.” And he made me let down my guard, put myself out there for him, and fall in love with him – which I did.”
Cohutta is currently married to Katelyn. The pair lives on a sheep farm in Montana’s gorgeous Paradise Valley.
