Carla Bruni admires her husband, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, for his forceful demeanor. Even after more than a decade of marriage, the former French First Lady still admires her husband’s demeanor. It’s the only thing that keeps them going. But it’s not the only thing she finds appealing about him.
Carla Bruni Still Thinks Her Husband Is ‘Sexy’
Bruni, who struck it off with Sarkozy right away after meeting him in 2007, still thinks her husband is sexy.’ Their connection is still as fiery as it was when they first met. That’s because he’s still the same guy he was back then. During an interview with The New York Times in February 2022, she discussed what she still loves about her spouse.
Sarkozy’s strong mind was one of her favorite aspects of him. He was regarded as a “super alpha” by her. He still ordered things about and was in charge of much of what was going on around him. The supermodel even said that his aggressive demeanor helped him win the presidency of France in 2007. Bruni, on the other hand, said that he is still a “take command of the issue” kind of person. “But he doesn’t need a nation; he just does it,” the model added of her spouse. Sarkozy, on the other hand, was more than just a dictator. Bruni found Sarkozy intriguing in other ways as well.
“He’s also the world’s gentlest and nicest guy,” Bruni said. “And he’s so hot.”
They remained together despite some rumors about how they would end up parting ways. People assumed that they would outgrow their feelings for one another. She once said that she was bored with monogamy. Sarkozy, too, was said to be growing tired of a woman who understood nothing about politics. People’s mental gymnastics did not come to fruition.
On the other hand, Bruni’s life improved because of his presence. Sarkozy had her abstain from drinking. He has never drunk in his life, but she adores it. “I adore wine and champagne, but I don’t drink it when it’s just the two of us,” she told The New York Times in 2017.
The Marriage of Carla Bruni and Nicolas Sarkozy
Bruni and Sarkozy’s romance started in 2007 at a dinner gathering. He didn’t need a drink to be “fun,” she knew the instant she met him. They hit it off right away, despite the fact that they were both recently single after the end of their respective relationships – she had split up with her girlfriend, and he had just divorced. She was attempting to be the first poet he had ever dated. She read him a few of her poems and handed him the lyric sheet over supper. Bruni informed The Guardian in 2013 that he still possessed the page.
There were allegations that she sided with him because of his authority. But she has categorically refuted this. Carla Bruni and her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy, have been married since 2008. Bruni married her spouse in Paris on February 2, 2008, after a whirlwind relationship. They now have a large number of children in common. Bruni gave birth to her first child, Aurelien, with previous lover Raphael Enthoven in 2001. Sarkozy’s previous marriages resulted in three children. On October 19, 2011, the couple had their first child, daughter Giulia. Sarkozy became the first French president to have a child while in office with the birth of Giulia.
