After much speculation, Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant have confirmed their relationship. Durant verified the news by posting a photo of them together in which Stewart was clutching him. According to the caption,

Daniel Durant is recognized for his work on stage, in films, and on television, and he has been hailed for his performances by critics and audiences alike. He grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, and graduated from the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. He then attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. In 2012, he enrolled at Gallaudet University and began his theatrical career with the play Cyrano de Bergerac.
Durant first appeared on television in the ABC family teen drama series Switched at Birth, where he portrayed Matthew for 17 episodes. The program ran for five seasons with 103 episodes from June 6, 2011, to April 11, 2017. The crowd responded well to the series. He played James in an episode of the Netflix psychological thriller series You’s the second season. The program debuted on September 9, 2018, and will run for three seasons till 2021. The first five episodes of the series’ newest season were published on February 9, 2023, while the remaining five are set to broadcast on March 9, 2023.
Durant also appeared on Dancing with the Stars season 31. In addition, he has acted in two films, Silent Notes and CODA, the latter of which won Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards. The 33-year-old is well-known for his roles in theater productions such as Cyrano, Flowers for Algernon, Spring Awakening, and others.

It’s unclear how Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant initially met, but they’ve known each other since season 31 of Dancing with the Stars when they were partners. Durant recently told People that he was successful in the program because Stewart learned sign language, which made communication between them simpler. Durant characterized Stewart as a pleasant person who taught him to sign language while she taught him how to dance.
Durant told Newsweek in 2022 that he was nervous on the first day since he didn’t know anything about his companion. He went on to say,
“As soon as the door opened and I saw Britt and could see her smile and feel her warmth, I knew we’d make a fantastic combination.”
