Bongbong Marcos was born on September 13, 1957, in Manila, Philippines, to Ferdinand E. Marcos and Imelda Remedios Visitacion Romualdez. His father, Ferdinand Sr., was a Representative of Ilocos Norte’s Second District when he was born, and he became a Senator two years later. Bongbong Marcos had his kindergarten and primary schooling at the Institucion Teresiana and La Salle Greenhills in Manila, respectively. Marcos was moved to England in 1970, where he lived and studied at the Worth School, an all-boys Benedictine boarding school.
He then enrolled in Oxford’s St Edmund Hall to study Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE).
