BIBI Will Co-star With Joong-ki Vincenzo’s Song In The Upcoming Noir Film

BIBI

Following the release of her song Animal Farm, Kim Hyung-SEO, better known as BIBI, is working on her next project. The South Korean singer-songwriter has been cast in a noir drama film with Vincenzo star Song Joong-ki. On September 23, 2022, Korean media sites announced that BIBI has been cast in the forthcoming noir film Hwaran (Korean translation), opposite Song Joong-ki. Following the news, Hwaran’s distributor, Megabox Plus M, revealed that the K-pop singer would feature in the future production.

In addition to Song and BIBI, Hong Xa Bin of Tune In For Love (2019) will play the protagonist in the film. Hong has already received accolades for his outstanding performances in short films such as On Leave and Save Me. Song Joong-ki is a well-known K-drama actor with a string of successes to his credit. Descendants of the Sun, Arthdal Chronicles, The Innocent Man, and more films are among his credits. Hwaran is a noir thriller film about a group of people who are compelled to make dangerous choices in order to escape their awful actual lives.

BIBI has been cast in Hwaran, a noir film starring Song Joong-ki.

Song Joong-ki will portray an underworld leader called Chi-gun, while Hong Xa Bin will play the film’s protagonist, Yun-kyu, and BIBI will play his sister, Ha-yan, according to The Korea Herald.

In a statement regarding his involvement in the film, Sog Joong-ki stated:

“I am excited to be a part of the Hwaran production, but I am also conflicted about this new film since it is a challenge for me.” I’m happy to be on set with such talented performers and a talented director.”

Kim Chang-hoon will helm the film. Filming started on September 13 in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, according to Megabox Plus M. Fans of the singer are overjoyed about her new endeavor, particularly after she had to withdraw from season 2 of Netflix’s Sweet Home owing to schedule difficulties.

BIBI is now working on her first studio album, Lowlife: Princess: Noir, which is set to be released sometime next month. On her birthday, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, she also released the pre-release tune Animal Farm. Fans will be pleased with the Weekend singer’s new film and first album. Last year, the Maybe If singer made her acting debut in Whispering Corridors 6: The Humming, a horror film. Without a doubt, the 24-year-old singer demonstrated her variety of skills with the film, and Hwaran will be another successful addition to her resume.
