Career
Becky Lynch began her job as a flight attendant with Aer Lingus for two and a half years after graduating. After leaving her job in 2002, she began training for wrestling with her brother. In November 2002, she made her professional wrestling debut as Rebecca Knox. In her early career, she wrestled as part of a mixed-tag team alongside her brother.
She then went on to train with the British Professional Wrestling Promotion at NWA UK Hammerlock. She then worked as an independent circuit till 2013, starting in 2005. During that time, she wrestled for Canadian SuperGirls Wrestling, All Pro Wrestling, and Fight Factory Pro Wrestling. In 2013, she signed a two-year deal with WWE and performed under the WWE brand NXT. After her contract expired in 2015, she was promoted to RAW’s main roster as a fan favorite.
