Samuel Levinson (born January 8, 1985) is an actor and filmmaker from the United States. He is the son of Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson. As a co-writer on the action comedy film Operation: Endgame in 2010, he received his first writing credit. The following year, he made his directorial debut with Another Happy Day (2011), which premiered to mixed reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. He was later given a writing credit on his father’s HBO television film The Wizard of Lies (2017). He went on to write and direct the feature films Assassination Nation (2018) and Malcolm & Marie (2021), both of which received mixed to negative reviews.
