In HBO’s Euphoria, Angus Cloud plays Fezco, a kind-hearted heroin dealer who develops a sympathetic relationship with Rue Bennett, portrayed by Zendaya, over the course of the first season. The program, which is infused with fantastic acting, outstanding writing, and directing, expertly conveys the drug scene and all of the bad effects that come with substance usage. Despite Rue’s grave pleadings, Cloud’s character stops her from taking Fentanyl, a highly addictive medication, in episode 2 of the first season. Many high-profile celebrities, like singer Prince and rapper Mac Miller, have died as a result of the substance in question, as observant fans have pointed out. They also emphasized Cloud’s character’s strong similarity to Miller, who died on September 7, 2018.

Is there a connection between Angus Cloud and Mac Miller?
Following the premiere of the program, followers of Cloud and Miller took to social media to ask a question about their resemblance in physical appearance. In a Reddit discussion, a member inquired whether anybody else believed Cloud and Miller had the same appearance. The majority of fans in the comment section agreed.
“Exactly what I thought when I first saw him,” one person replied. Another person said that they felt the same way when Cloud appeared on screen as his character Fezco. Furthermore, many others praised the actor for performing the character with complete honesty. A Twitter user published something similar in a tweet in June 2019. The Twitter user shared photos of Cloud and Miller, pointing out how Cloud’s Fezco resembles the ‘Swimming’ hitmaker. “I began bawling as I saw Fez [Fezco] take care of Rue, knowing Mac died from a fentanyl overdose,” the individual said. The tweet elicited a similar response as the previously stated Reddit thread.
Fans Want a Biopic of Mac Miller
One of Miller’s followers took things into their own hands, initiating a change.org petition requesting a Miller biopic starring Cloud. In the description, the fan said that it had been a few years following Miller’s death and highlighted the lack of a film depicting the iconic rapper’s life on-screen. The petition’s originator was inspired by late N.W.A rapper Eazy-E, whose early career and battle with AIDS were shown in the 2015 hip-hop film Straight Outta Compton.

Furthermore, the petition urged Netflix or other major production companies to develop a show featuring Cloud. Similarly, there has been a spike in Twitter requests for a biopic on Miller, with Cloud playing the starring role. “When they make a movie on Mac Miller’s life, Angus Cloud should portray him,” a fan said in September 2019. However, as of this writing, no movie has been announced in response to popular demand.
