Anthony Russo grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, with his siblings Joe and Angela. Basil Russo, their father, was a former judge, and Patricia, their mother, was a housewife. He graduated from the University of Iowa after attending Benedictine High School. Both brothers attended Case Western Reserve University. It was during their time at CWRU that they began their career as a writer-director-producer duo with “Pisces,” their first independent feature film.
