Anisha Ramakrishna was at her lowest point in the first season of Family Karma. She’d recently ended a 12-year relationship and hadn’t quite found her footing.
According to ET, the reality star was completely heartbroken and lost at the time. She also felt out of place during filming because she was the only single, straight cast member who had recently gained 30 pounds and cut her hair. With the release of the season two premiere, she had moved past whatever had been holding her back and had rediscovered herself.
Significant improvement In Season Two
In a recent interview with ET, the reality star revealed that her appearance for the show’s sophomore season was actually what she always looked like. In retrospect, she saw the first season as her absolute low point. She continued,
“I always say that I thrive in chaos and enjoy every moment of it. I have no regrets, but I was in a bad place in my life at the time”
The season kicked off with Ramakrishna deciding to freeze her eggs. Although it was a very sensitive subject last year, her mother, Chitra, has grown to be content with her daughter becoming a mother, regardless of the path taken.

Ramakrishna is a Celibate
It’s also worth noting that the fashion designer has chosen a life of celibacy since her breakup. She had been a practicing celibate for three years during her virtual interview with the outlet.
As part of her interaction, Ramakrishna advocated for the normalization of celibacy, self-improvement, and self-love. When asked what pushed her down this path, she stated that she simply didn’t want to be with anyone. She also stated that she did not set out to become a celibate; rather, she could not find anyone with whom she could “do it.”
She was a well-known fashion designer in New York City.
According to her Bravo bio, Ramakrishna was at the pinnacle of her New York City fashion industry career when she decided to launch her size-inclusive clothing line.
That decision involved leaving the city and her boyfriend of 12 years behind to return home to Southern Florida with her family and follow in her family’s entrepreneurial footsteps.
She also told Showbiz Cheatsheet that moving back home changed her life drastically. She left her career, relationship, apartment, and friends behind to return to her childhood bedroom.

Ramakrishna Fashion Line
She admitted that she felt like she’d regressed 12 years at 36, but it was all for a greater good—fulfilling her dream. And according to Bravo, she was successful in launching her clothing line. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is the founder of a size-inclusive clothing line. Currently, from 2017 to the present. Although no official estimate has been released, it is safe to assume that the fashionista turned reality star has a sizable net worth.
