Amanda was 17 years old when she began singing lessons and met her husband, Diego Verdague, who was 5 years her senior. When she met Diego he was already established as a singer and a songwriter and Amanda joined her musical group called Mediterraneo. She had previously enjoyed her group’s success and afterward launched her solo career by performing the song in 1980.
Her first solo album, El Sonido Volumen I, was recorded in 1981 and subsequently published. She continued to sing after that. Throughout her career, she sang several songs and released many music albums. The most recent album in her voice, 80*15, was published in 2015. She went on to do several music and singing tours across the globe with her spouse after that. In between her career journey, she face different up and down and when her daughter Ana Victoria was born she left music for so many years and returned in 1987.
