Madlyn Riley Ballatori’s boyfriend has issued her with an ultimatum: either marry him or move on. The destiny of the marriage will be revealed in Netflix’s new drama The Ultimatum, which premieres on April 6, 2022.
According to the show’s official summary,
“Six distinct couples on the approach of getting married.” One spouse is eager to marry, while the other is unsure. An ultimatum is delivered, and they have just over eight weeks to commit to marriage or go on. In the interim, each will pick a new prospective mate from one of the other couples, in a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two alternative possible futures.”

Madlyn Riley Ballatori is a Texas-based IT project manager. Madlyn is the middle child in a family of five siblings and is originally from The Woodlands, Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, the 24-year-old relocated to Austin and started her job in project management. She enjoys being outside and exploring rivers with her two Maltese puppies.
Ballatori has been dating Colby Kissinger for a year and a half, but she is not yet ready to marry him since committing to one person for the rest of her life is a significant step for her. She even believes she may be happy with someone else. As a result, she is here for the experiment after receiving an ultimatum from her 25-year-old boyfriend, who is ready to propose to her and be “known as her man.” The forthcoming eight-episode miniseries will tell if Ballatori will be with someone else and split up with Kissinger or continue with him to the finish.

The Ultimatum on Netflix
Following the success of Love Is Blind, audiences are looking forward to a never-before-seen idea with the new program, The Ultimatum, Marry or Move On. The show’s trailer was released at the Love Is Blind Season 2 reunion, hinting at the unscripted show’s premise.
The program, produced by Kinetic Content, will follow the love lives of six real-life couples who are exploring marriage, but after finding that one partner is not yet ready to commit while the other is, an ultimatum is delivered to either be married or go on for forever. The program will launch on Netflix on April 6, with the first eight episodes streaming on the same day, followed by the conclusion and reunion on Wednesday, April 13.
