Ali Larter and her husband, Hayes MacArthur, are a dynamic duo. They’ve been dating since 2005 when they met on the set of National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus. Ali Larter’s husband & Hayes MacArthur hit Immediately.
The actress, well known for her role as Clear Rivers in the Final Destination film series, felt an instant connection with MacArthur when they first met. Within a few weeks, the pair had become so close that Larter expressed her desire to marry her now-husband. “I told my lover after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow,” she recalled to Cosmopolitan.
Larter explained why she hurried for the proposal during the same session. She claimed that she thought that one must always give love their best, and if it does not work out, the other person is not the right person for them. Furthermore, she had always wished to find the ideal guy, marry, and raise a family with a spouse and children.
Wedding and Engagement
Larter and MacArthur got engaged almost three years after they started dating. In December 2007, they exchanged rings. “It’s real,” the actress’s representative claimed. “They’re overjoyed.” By then, it was clear they were engaged to marry, which they did in August 2009. The Heroes star married her longtime actor lover at MacArthur’s parent’s mansion in Kennebunkport, Maine. The bride wore a Vera Wang sweetheart neck, A-line Chantilly gown with hand-pieced corded lace appliqué on her wedding day.
On the other hand, the groom wore a Ralph Lauren Black Label tuxedo with a Polo Ralph Lauren bow tie. Furthermore, the actress went down the aisle flanked by purple, pink, and white flowers, holding a modest matched bouquet. The bride also looked stunning in a pair of Jimmy Choo satin platform shoes. According to Us Weekly, the wedding was a small event, and the guests came on trolleys. Amy Smart, the actress from Just Friends, was among the attendees.
Parenting Two Children Currently
Following their lavish wedding in 2009, the couple allegedly paid $2.9 million for a three-story mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
On July 20, 2010, the couple revealed that Larter was expecting their first child. They were eventually blessed with a baby boy, Theodore, on December 20, 2010.
When they received another tiny bundle of joy, the family was complete. On January 15, 2015, they had their second child, daughter Vivienne. In a December 2020 interview with People, Larter said that having two children had “filled her life to the overflowing.”
She also claimed that her son and daughter were opposed, which astounded her since she realized she could learn much from them.
