Alex began his career by auditioning for the first season of Oxygen’s The Glee Project in 2011, where he was one of 34,000 applicants. His self-filmed video went viral, with over one million views. He was one of 12 contestants competing for a seven-episode arc on Glee. He collaborated with Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, and Naya Rivera, among others.
