Adam McKay was born in Denver, Colorado on April 17, 1968. He is Imperato and Sarah’s son. His father worked as a musician, and his mother worked as a waitress. His parents divorced when he was only seven years old. He attended Great Valley High School in Malvern. Following that, he attended Pennsylvania State University before being transferred to Temple University. He did, however, drop out of Temple University before graduating.
