He has also been active as an artist since 2002. That year, he had a huge cameo in his first film by playing St. Benedict Student in the film The Emperor’s Club. He had an appearance in Learn to Hip Hop: Volume 2 in 2003. In February 2008, Sevani appeared in Step Up 2: The Streets, the second installment of the Step Up film series, produced by Touchstone Pictures. The film focuses on a group of understudies who form a dance ensemble and battle around the city.
In May 2009, Adam G. Sevani was confirmed to reprise his role as Moose in the planned third installment of the Step Up trilogy. The film was shot in New York City on a $30 million budget. Step Up 3D focuses on Moose and his best friend Camille Alyson Stoner traveling to New York to start university until Sevani’s character becomes involved in the underground filmmaking scene.
He has appeared in music videos such as Mase’s “Inhale, Stretch, Shake,” Will Smith’s “Switch,” T-Pain’s “Congregation,” and NLT’s “That Girl.” In addition, he choreographed NLT’s music video for “Karma.” In 2006, he was acknowledged as a move-down artist for Kevin Federline’s performance at the Teen Choice Awards.
