Park Bo-gum, a South Korean heartthrob, was freed early from the military for active service on February 21 and was observed out and about by admirers. He is not required to return to the military for an official discharge slated for April 30 under the new COVID rules and the ability to utilize remaining leaves.

Fans got their first sight at the Record of Youth star, dressed in navy blue and wearing a cap while carrying a big rucksack. The actor will not be an active soldier but rather an active serviceman, which means he cannot appear in public or release any material until he has completed his service.

Park Bo-gum, 28, went home on February 21 after receiving an early release from conscription. On August 31, 2020, he enrolled in the military. The actor was a military sailor who was promoted to sergeant in November last year. He chose to use his remaining leave to take a vacation and received an early release today, after which he would not be needed to return to the military post.
