Jamie Demetriou is an English performer, scriptwriter, and humorist. Demetriou was born in London to a local mother and a Greek-Cypriot father. He has an elder sister, Natasia Demetriou, who is an actress and comic and a regular partner of his. He went to North Finchley’s Compton School and Bristol University. Demetriou was also a member of London’s Chickenshed Company in Southgate. His student variety performance would go on to garner critical praise, with The Independent reviewing his one-man multi-character show People Day.
