Sam Rockwell has been in a long-term relationship with Leslie Bibb. So much so that many people believe Bibb is his wife. They’ve lived through the ups and downs of each other’s professions and lives, but they’ve never had a poor relationship moment in public.

According to her, Rockwell and Bibb had a stereotypical first date. They “meet at the most cliché setting,” she once quipped, referring to the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California. It was October 2007, and they met in the restaurant’s foyer as she was waiting to meet up with pals for supper. In 2012, she described their encounter as “strange.” She’d never dated a celebrity until Rockwell. But their bond was apparent. “Oh-oh, what’s that?” Bibb wondered as they grinned at one other.
Their first date was a day-long visit to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles a week later, thanks to that exchange of grins. She was first cautious of any meaningful connection. Despite her lack of desire for anything meaningful, she fell in love three weeks later. The duo has collaborated on several projects throughout the years, including their most notable cameo in Iron Man 2. Rockwell and Bibb have also attended countless red carpet events together and enjoyed adorable moments in front of the cameras.
In all of the couple’s years together, there has been no discussion of a wedding. Nobody knows if or when they will marry. On the other hand, Bibb does not hesitate to refer to him as her spouse. Her eighth-anniversary post in 2015 was one such example. “Eight years ago today, I met this kitty,” Bibb said in the post. Then, showing her love for her hubby, she said that she couldn’t wait to spend the next eight years with him and closed the remark with the hashtag #besthusbandever.

Every long-lasting marriage has its own methods for making things endure. The same may be said about Rockwell and Bibb. The pair maintains a good relationship by not being too independent of one another.
“We have a two-to-three-week rule before we see one other,” he said in 2018. He felt that if they remained away for much longer, they would become “too autonomous.”
Their sense of humor was also beneficial, and they constantly “looked after one other.” During their red carpet appearance at the 2018 SAG Awards in January 2018, they were asked about the key to their love. Rockwell stressed the importance of communication, to which Bibb humorously added, “Good sex” and “a good sense of humor.”

The pair, on the other hand, does not seem to be very keen on passing on their amusing genes. Or, at the very least, Rockwell did not, although a long time ago. In 2007, Rockwell said that he was just not interested in having children.
“I absolutely do not want to be a parent,” he told The Guardian. “This isn’t my purse.”
He went on to state that he didn’t “understand” children and believed they were too much to manage. “Children, on the other hand, are a lot of effort. I have a lot of admiration for parents, “He continued. But it was in 2007. Maybe he’s changed his mind?
