Dahyun was born Kim Da-Hyun. She was born in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea, on 28th May 1998. She is currently 25 years old and is a Gemini. Myung Soo is her older brother. She began singing with her Christian church choir at an early age. Kim first drew attention as a sixth-grader in elementary school when she performed an “eagle dance” at church.
