April Ross is a professional beach volleyball player from the United States. As a senior, she was named Gatorade National Player of the Year and named California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Player of the Year at NHHS in 1998 and 1999. In 2004, she received the Honda Sports Award as the nation’s top female collegiate volleyball player at USC. On July 4, 2009, she and Jennifer Kessy won the FIVB World Championships in Stavanger, Norway, defeating Brazilians Juliana Felisberta Silva and Larissa Franca. She was voted the FIVB’s Top Rookie and Most Improved Player in 2007.
In 2009 and 2011, she has crowned the Women’s FIVB World Tour’s Best Hitter.
