Robert Hight joined a team after years as a fan. 1995: Clutch specialist for John Force Racing. Before 2005, he was a crew member for John Force and Eric Medlen. In his debut season with John Force Racing, he finished sixth in points, won two races, and qualified for four final rounds. He finished second in points his second season, with three victories, six final rounds, and a 35-20 record in 23 events.
He started his 13th season driving a Chevrolet Camaro with crew chief Mike Neff, Jon Schaffer, and Jason McCulloch. At Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, he drove a CHP-like car. His first race was the NHRA Gatornationals. He reconnected with Jimmy Prock, his 2009 crew chief. The team started slowly but eventually gelled and won its first No. 1 in June at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.
