Madi Skinner Career
Madison attended Faith West Academy while growing up in Katy, Texas. She was a part of PrepVollyball’s Top 50 Juniors list while in high school. Furthermore, the high school volleyball team won the Girls Junior National Championship in 2019. The young athlete attended the University of Kentucky for two years. She announced her transfer on Instagram. She said that she was “honored to have had the chance to wear blue for the past two years.”
The outside hitter made sure to thank Kentucky Volleyball, her incredible teammates, and BBN for all of their love and support throughout her time with them. She was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American twice and All-SEC twice during her tenure at Kentucky. The outside hitter recorded a team-high 3.78 kills per set and a 282 hitting % in her last season at Kentucky. In addition, she averaged 1.21 digs and 0.48 blocks per set.
As a freshman, Skinner played an important part in Kentucky’s national victory. Skinner averaged 3.1 kills per set in the NCAA tournament. Madi also set a season record with 19 kills in the National Championship match versus Texas.
