Jackson attended Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee, and was a WBCA All-American. She played in the 2001 WBCA High School All-America Game, scoring five points. She played collegiately for Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee. Jackson is a 6’0″ (183 cm) guard with a knack for three-point shooting. She was a member of the Tennessee Lady Volunteers from 2001 to 2005, where she helped her team reach the NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball title final four all four seasons and the national title game in 2003 and 2004.
She was a member of the National Women’s Basketball League’s San Jose Spiders in 2006. After one season with the Spiders, she joined the Turkish club Burhaniye Belediyespor. She signed with Atlanta soon after joining the Polish club AZS KK Jelenia Góra in January 2008, after failing to reach the WNBA in her first three post-college seasons. She works as a model as well.
