Shots were fired at some time, and three cops were hit by gunfire. Pope County authorities confirmed the presence of a firearm on the scene and reported multiple injuries, including the suspect. A Starbuck Police officer and a Pope County deputy both received non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They are no longer in the hospital.
