The claims leveled against the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees President have recently come under scrutiny. Drew, an executive pastor of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, allegedly sexually touched the youngster. Dew Wilborn, the president of the Prosper Independent School District, has been arrested for sexual indecency with a kid. According to jail records, the Prosper ISD board president was detained on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in the afternoon. On April 12, 2022, Dallas Police received information concerning an incident between a juvenile and the school board president. Following an investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for the 43-year-old. He was apprehended at his house in Celina, Texas.
Wilborn was arrested and put into the Dallas County Jail on a charge of indecency with a 16-year-old kid. As of Wednesday, it was unclear if bail was established or whether the Prosper ISD president was represented by a counsel. The Prosper Independent School District issued a statement stating that no Prosper kids were involved in the matter.
The Prosper ISD also sent any inquiries about the matter to the Dallas Police Department. Wilborn monitored multiple heated meetings in 2022 with parents who questioned Prosper ISD’s handling of claims of sexual assault against a bus driver. The board of trustees engaged a legal firm to look into the complaints made by the parents of two elementary school girls, ages 5 and 7, who attended the same school.
They voiced their dissatisfaction with the lack of appropriate action taken against the driver who allegedly sexually molested their daughters over 100 times in less than a year. The accused bus driver, Frank Paniagua, committed suicide by leaping from the second story of the Collin County Jail. He became paralyzed and died a few days later. Drew Wilborn’s Personal Information
Drew Wilborn is the president of the board of trustees for the Prosper Independent School District. The 43-year-old, who was just elected president, conducted a massive campaign for the board and will begin his three-year tenure in 2021. Wilborn graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems in 2002.
In 2014, he received his MA in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. In June 2017, the current president of the ISD board of trustees relocated to Prosper with his wife and family. Drew has prior employment experience as an accounting supervisor and financial analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. The 43-year-old devoted Christian has been a pastor and chief financial officer at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church for over 16 years.
