Meet Frannie Marin, the smallest Survivor season 44 competitor, prior of her debut on the CBS program.
Frannie Marin, the future survivor, is 23 years old, making her the season’s youngest competitor. She describes herself as inquisitive, cunning, and piquant. Frannie attended Hill-Marry School, where she received her high school certificate, before enrolling in DIS – Study Abroad, where she studied positive psychology during the fall semester of 2020 in Denmark. She attended the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2021, where she was a member of the honors program and chorus, finishing with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
The Survivor season 44 competitor started her job as a part-time office manager for Serenity Nails and Spa for four years before launching her own journal-style group called Integrated Metabolism, which, according to her Resume, is geared toward encouraging scientific curiosity:
“Integrated Metabolism is a journal-style group for college students interested in biological subjects such as human metabolism, diet, exercise physiology, and biochemistry.”
She worked as a research aide for Mann Lab and RIMA Lab before becoming a clinical research supervisor for the CHA Center for Mindfulness and Kindness in 2021. The forthcoming season 44 cast member spoke to Parade about her presence on the CBS program and how the show is a combination of everything she enjoys. She will be able to learn how people engage with one another in the program and will have the chance to join various group relationships within the community.
Frannie went on to say:
“I enjoy the muscular component, simply pushing yourself beyond what you believed your body was capable of. Then there’s the emotional and spiritual aspect of challenging yourself to your boundaries and seeing what you’re made of.”
Sophie Clarke from Survivor: South Pacific is the only victor with whom she can identify. Frannie considers the previous competitor to be an underappreciated victor and a “bada**.” Meanwhile, a non-winner she admires is Gabby Pascuzzi from David vs. Goliath, who was known to be open about her feelings. Frannie believes she will be the same way on the program, and that while she will use her brain, she will also use her feelings and consider her emotions carefully.
Frannie is the youngest female cast member and the second youngest cast member on Survivor season 44. Carson Garrett, a 20-year-old NASA engineering student, is the youngest. Jamie (35), Lauren (30), Maddy (28), Claire (25), Heidi (42), Carolyn (35), Helen (28), and Sarah are among the other ladies scheduled to perform on the program (26).
