Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor, a Russian-American singer-songwriter, has canceled her remaining 2022 tour dates due to a “severe case of Covid.” Spector, who began her tour on June 25 and was scheduled to end it on October 27, had to cancel ten of her remaining autumn tour dates.

Spector posted the following on Instagram:

“I came down with a nasty case of Covid after being so vigilant and miraculously avoiding it for almost 2.5 years.” I apologize to everyone who purchased tickets to see me in their town. I’ve gone from feeling lousy to feeling dreadful. “I’ve gone deaf.”

She continued, noting:

“I am a little insane from illness, so please accept my apologies if this message isn’t very coherent.” I’ve been going through a lot recently, and all of your support has been really helpful. I hope mine finds its way to you as well. For the time being, I will have to sing to you from previous recordings, and we will reschedule the events for when the theaters can accommodate me again.”
