The eighth season of ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise will premiere on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET. Andrew Spencer from The Bachelorette season 17 is one of the men slated to participate in the program, and he feels that finding love on the show has been a “life-changing” experience. Bachelor in Paradise is a reality program that follows 20 individuals on their journey to find love. BiP, which is set in Mexico, adopts a more laid-back style than the previous series in the franchise. According to the show’s official synopsis:
It’s almost heaven! “Bachelor in Paradise” returns over a year after the last rose was given out on the beach, with the largest-ever roster of fan favorites from “The Bachelor” series. With Jesse Palmer as host and Wells Adams returning to the bar, the current crop of hopeful hotties plus a few gorgeous surprises are poised to create waves and capture affections this autumn.”

Andrew Spencer is a football coach from Bachelor in Paradise: Learn about him up close and personal.
Andrew spends much of his time traveling between Chicago and Austria. He spends half of the year in Vienna, Austria, playing professional football, and the other half in the Chicago region, working as a football coach and teacher’s aide. As a consequence of spending so much time in Europe over the years, he has acquired a “work to live” mindset. The 27-year-old beliefs in lavish romantic gestures for his significant other, such as traveling for hours to hand-deliver lunch and fresh flowers. Poor communication is the single thing he can’t abide in a relationship.
He also has a great sense of humor. One of his favorite party gimmicks is impersonating accents from all around the globe. Andrew, on the other hand, adores margaritas and would want to participate in margarita-making competitions. After being a bachelor for so long, Andrew is ready to marry. He desires at least five children. In an interview with People, he discussed his experience on Bachelor in Paradise finding love. He stated:
“I don’t believe I anticipated anything to happen. But if someone else suffers sorrow, you suffer as well because you want to see that effort succeed.”
He also admitted:
“It’s just so different from The Bachelor [and] The Bachelorette.”
The BiP participant also said that the season was a total washout for him and the other contestants. He also added that they built a tight friendship after spending months together as candidates in the program. It was also sad for him to see other competitors’ romances fail since he wanted others to fall in love with the right person.
