Arsène Wenger, full name Arsène Charles Ernest Wenger, was born on October 22, 1949, in Strasbourg, Alsace, France to parents Alphonse and Louise Wenger. He also has two siblings. His parents owned and operated an automobile spare parts company. He attended a school in Obernai.
He had also served in the army and fought on the Eastern Front when he was 24 years old in October 1944. In terms of education, he completed a three-week language course at Cambridge. He also studied for his coaching badge at Strasbourg’s Centre de Ressources, d’expertise et de Performance Sportives (CREPS). In 1981, he received his manager’s diploma in Paris.
