Chip Kelley, also known as Charles Edward Kelly, is a football coach in the United States. He has served as the head coach of the UCLA Bruins. Previously, he was a head coach in the NFL (National Football League) twice, once with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2013 to 2015 and once with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. He was the head coach of the Oregon Ducks from 2009 to 2012, leading the team to four BCS bowl game appearances.

Chip Kelly Biography
Chip Kelly was born and raised in Dover, New Hampshire. He graduated from Manchester Central High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from New Hampshire University in 1990.
He played defensively at Manchester Central and offensively at New Hampshire University. He used to play basketball and ice hockey in high school, in addition to football.
Kelly began coaching at Columbia University in 1990 as a freshman-team secondary coach. He began working as a running back coach at New Hampshire University in 1992. He joined Johns Hopkins University as a defensive coordinator in 1993.
He returned to his alma mater and began working as a running back coach for the next three seasons, from 1994 to 1996. He was the offensive line coach from 1997 to 1998.

Chip Kelly was promoted to the position of head coach in Oregon on March 31, 2009. He gained national attention in October 2009, when the Ducks defeated the USC Trojans. He was ranked as the first Pac-ten coach to win a full conference competition during his first coaching season. By becoming the first coach since 1995 to send his Ducks team to the Rose Bowl.
