Molly Burnett is an American actress, singer, and producer best known for her roles as Kelly Ann in the crime thriller Queen of the South and Melanie Jonas on the daytime soap Days of Our Lives. Burnett was nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Jonas. She was also nominated for a third Daytime Emmy Award for Relationship Status.
Burnett left daytime jobs in 2012 to pursue a career in primetime, appearing on shows such as CSI: NY and Major Crimes. Ashley Bloom in the MTV Original Film Ladies Man: A Made Movie was her first film role. Burnett featured as Nina Moore on CSI: Cyber in 2015. She subsequently returned to Days of Our Lives for a six-month run in 2014. Burnett also portrayed Maxie Jonas on the daytime drama General Hospital. Burnett will next be seen in the forthcoming season of Law & Order: SVU as Junior Detective Grace Muncy, who will assist the SVU team in solving the crimes that the special squad is assigned to.
While specifics about her character are being kept under wraps, TV Line describes Burnett’s Grace Muncy as “clever, forthright, and gorgeous,” as well as having experience dealing with gangs. She is also “extremely competent at her work,” according to the article.

Law & Order: SVU is an American crime drama series developed by Dick Wolf, who also created the original series Law & Order, on which the spin-off series is based. The program debuted in September 1999 and follows detectives from the New York City Police Department’s 16th Precinct’s “Special Victims Unit.”
The section concentrates on r*pe, s*xual assault, and child molestation, as well as any crime that is vaguely related to any of the three, such as domestic violence, abduction, and child abandonment. The series also follows Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) as she climbs from Detective to Lieutenant while working with a partner. While nothing is known about the series, the first episode is titled Gimme Shelter- Part Two. It follows Cosgrove and Shaw (Jeffrey Donovan and Mehcad Brooks from Law & Order) as they strive to find the culprit after a female is shot. At the same time, Benson and Stabler (Law & Order: SVU) feel it isn’t a regular murder.
