Season 12 of 7 Little Johnstons delves into family life.
All of the Johnstons on the episode has achondroplasia, the most prevalent type of dwarfism in the world. They refuse to be let down by the disease as a family and seek to live normally. They seek to raise awareness about their disease by appearing on television. Furthermore, they wish to demonstrate to the world that they are no different from persons who do not have dwarfism. Furthermore, the Johnstons family is made up of a broad set of people. They adopted three additional children after the births of their biological children, Elizabeth and Jonah: Anna from Russia, Alex from South Korea, and Emma from China.
Amber’s major motivation for adopting was problems with both of her births. To adopt Anna, the couple flew to Russia and resided there for 16 days. Similarly, the couple had to go to China in order to adopt Emma. Unlike these two nations, however, they adopted Alex without visiting South Korea. Amber discussed her feelings about adopting and starting a family in a YouTube video.
“Adoption is not right for everyone. However, everyone can help in adoption, whether it’s by donating to a particular family that is adopting or a specific organization.”
She went on to say,
“Our family was formed not just via birth, but also through adoption, and Trent and I are quite proud of that.”
Furthermore, the Johnstons family’s net wealth is not well recognized. However, based on TLC’s budget of $250,000 to $400,000 every episode, it is reasonable to conclude that the family makes between $25,000 and $40,000 per episode. 7 Little Johnstons will air on TLC on August 12 at 10:00 p.m. (ET).
