Dávila represents Arroyo in the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013 competition on August 29, 2012. She finished first runner-up and received the Best Legs Award. Dávila represented Arroyo in Miss World Puerto Rico 2014 on August 13, 2014. She won both the competition and the Beach Beauty Award. Dávila went on to represent Puerto Rico in Miss World 2014 in London, where she made history as the first woman of mostly African descent to represent Puerto Rico in Miss World, however she did not make it beyond the semifinals.
On July 16, 2016, Dávila represented Miami Beach in the Miss Florida USA 2017 competition. She won and was crowned Miss Florida USA 2017 by outgoing titleholder Brie Gabrielle. Dávila was dethroned on July 22, 2016, when it was uncovered that she hired outside hair and cosmetics artists instead of applying her own makeup at the Miss Florida USA state pageant, which is strictly against pageant rules. The pageant reported that they got several complaints from eyewitnesses and other candidates, as well as that it gave Dávila an unfair edge. Linette De Los Santos, her first runner-up, took her place as Miss Florida USA 2017 and represented Florida in Miss USA 2017.
