Andrew Left was born on July 9, 1970, in a Detroit suburb to a Jewish family. They eventually relocated to Coral Springs, Florida, with his family. He left Coral Springs High School, where he was a member of the debate team and president of the school’s Jewish youth group. In 1993, he transferred to North-eastern University.
Andrew began his career with Universal Commodity Corp, a high-pressure supply brokerage firm that used salespeople to close deals and push “questionable investments.” Left the company in March 1994 after working there for nine months. It was after the National Futures Association sanctioned the firm in December 1998.
