His ancestors were of German descent. Kevin George Knipfing, better known as Kevin James, and Leslie Knipfing are Valentine’s two siblings. Gary and his siblings were raised as practicing Catholics. He completed his education at Ward Melville High School in Suffolk County, New York, USA.
