Trouble DTE, a rapper from Atlanta, is said to have died at the age of 35. According to several reports, the Atlanta rapper, real name Mariel Semonté Orr, was shot and killed early Sunday morning (June 5). His sister and ex-girlfriend, Alexis Skyy, both confirmed the terrible news. She posted a tweet from Trouble, which he sent only a couple of weeks after she found out:

“Life is too short, dawg smh.” You never know when your numba will be called! Move with elegance and wit. Be thankful. Don’t forget to forgive. I adore you all. Respect for life! Any day might be all ova! On Lord.”

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Jamichael Jones, 33, who is suspected of committing the killing. Meanwhile, social media is flooded with condolences for the musician. Mike WILL Made-It, who signed Trouble to EarDrummers Entertainment in 2017, was one among many who lamented his death.

Jamichael Jones, 33, of Atlanta, was sought on murder, home invasion, and aggravated assault warrants, according to Sheriff Canty. According to Canty, Jones, the suspect, was embroiled in a “domestic issue” with the lady Trouble was visiting, and he and Trouble never met. According to Canty, he stormed into the woman’s house and started a fire, striking Trouble in the chest once. He was declared dead on the scene. The lady, who has not been identified, is not thought to be upset.

Although no arrests have been made, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office has secured warrants in connection with the murder for a suspect identified as 33-year-old Jamichael Jones of Atlanta. Jones is sought on charges of aggravated assault, criminal homicide, and home invasion. According to officials, he is believed to be in the Atlanta and Jonesboro, Georgia, regions. At a news conference on Sunday evening, spokesman Jedidia Canty said the shooting seemed to be a domestic issue. She continued by saying that Trouble and Jones knew the lady they were seeing at the apartment complex.
