Duo: Buy It or Build It Chris and Calvin LaMont are among the most successful real estate developers in Dallas, Texas, and the twins are now gearing up to start their own program. The Buy It or Construct It pair gives its customers the option of having the brothers build them a completely new home or remodel an existing property that meets their specifications. The customer may then pick between a completely new home and a refurbished property.

Who are Chris and Calvin LaMont from Buy It or Build It?
Chris and Calvin LaMont, identical twins, are poised to debut their own HGTV program. The licensed contractors are Jamaicans by birth. The twins arrived in Dallas, Texas, a decade ago, with great aspirations for their future, as stated on their website.
“We knew we wanted to pursue real estate when we got to Dallas.”
They both graduated from Lehigh University in 2007, and then founded CWC Restoration and Construction, a janitorial and floor cleaning firm, in 2010, before ultimately starting to construct and flip homes in 2015. They are both real estate developers and builders. Calvin LaMont had three varsity football lettermen in his career. Last year, he proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina Boxton. They have a child together. Chris LaMont has two sons named Jayden Kash and Chris Jr.

HGTV’s Buy It or Build It begins on May 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The series will consist of six episodes. While Calvin feels that constructing a new house from the ground up is the best option, Chris prefers to modify existing homes. So, after listening to the requirements of the homeowners, the twins will part ways.
Chris will create a rough drawing of the new house, while Calvin will locate an existing home that fits the owner’s aesthetic. Customers will have the option of purchasing an existing property and renovating it or building a new home from the ground up. In the first episode, identical twins Chris and Calvin meet Dominique and Darrian Campbell, who are looking for a large family house for their expanding family.
