Troy Dendekker’s Husband Passed Away A Week After Their Marriage
Things were going well between the two until tragedy struck. Bradley died of a heroin overdose on May 25, 2016, just a week after their wedding.
The incident occurred at the Ocean View Motel in San Francisco, where Nowell and members of his band were staying. Bud Gaugh, one of the band members, awoke to find Bradley dead on his bed next to him. Despite calling paramedics, Gaugh was pronounced dead on the spot and had died several hours earlier.
According to reports, Bradley attempted to wake up his band members to go to the beach earlier that morning, but they were too hung-over to go. His ashes were spread over his favorite surfing spot in Surfside, California, after he was cremated.
With tears streaming down her cheeks, Troy Dendekker, who was 26 at the time, spoke about his husband’s death days later.
“I was furious at first. I wanted him to come here so I could yell at him.”
Troy Dendekker Still Loves Her Late Husband
It is difficult to forget someone close to you, especially if that person is someone you adore. The same is true for Troy, who lost her long-term boyfriend turned husband only a week after they married.
It appears that she is still haunted by her memories of her time with him. Troy still appears to have the same feelings for him after more than two decades. The 49-year-old continues to post photos of herself with Bradley on social media, which reflects her feelings for him. Troy posted a lovely photo of herself with Bradley on September 5, 2020, with the caption, “Hi Bradley.”

Similarly, Troy’s second husband Kiki shared a video clip with photos from their wedding on the occasion of their 15th wedding anniversary. However, the post has since been removed.
But, despite their bonding and love for one another, the former husband and wife are no longer together. According to court records, the couple filed for divorce on July 25, 2018. So far, there has been no word on whether or not their divorce has been finalized.
