People magazine exclusively confirmed the wedding of WWE star Alexa Bliss and singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera on Saturday, April 9. According to the magazine, the pair married at Kempa Villa in Palm Desert, California. During an interview with the newspaper, Bliss allegedly described her wedding as “quite non-traditional.” Their wedding was also revealed to have a “rockstar” theme.
Cabrera said to People,
“It’s all designed to bring out our personalities, and we’re far from ordinary.”

Alexa Bliss went on Nikki and Brie Bella’s podcast in August 2020 and discussed how she met her boyfriend Ryan Cabrera. Bliss (30) said in the interview that Michael Gregory Mizanin (aka The Miz) acquainted the two. According to Bliss’ description of their meeting, Miz had questioned Cabrera about her, and he was unaware of her WWE fame. She said,
“So Miz, Ryan’s closest buddy, contacted him and inquired about his relationship with Alexa Bliss, and Ryan had no idea who I was. Miz eventually told him it was a female he works with. Then we began talking, and he invited me to one of his gigs and asked [sic] where I was from.”
Cabrera reportedly invited Bliss to his Orlando event and then asked her out afterward. However, the wrestler apparently declined the offer at the time. Bliss went on to say:
“I ended up going to the event, and he offered me out afterward, which I declined, but we kept talking, and he was incredibly patient and persistent, and we became fantastic friends. It eventually blossomed into a wonderful partnership. He’s really kind and talented.”
They dated for a year before getting engaged.
Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera began dating after meeting at some time in late 2019. Ryan Cabrera proposed to Bliss a year later, on November 15, 2020, and the pair were engaged. Alexa Bliss said during an Instagram live session that Ryan Cabrera had created a song for her, which was played in the background during their proposal. When Bliss went down the aisle during their wedding, the same song was played.
She said in an Instagram live at the moment that Cabrera told her, “I’ve waited 38 years to do this,” before getting down on one knee. Bliss also stated that Cabrera informed her on their second date that they would marry eventually. They also made public affirmations of their love for one other, which was nice. Bliss said during her participation on the Bella sisters’ podcast:
“He literally breaks his back to make me happy.”
