Hannah Ferrier, a former Below Deck Mediterranean star, married Josh Roberts on Saturday, March 26, 2022, in a high-profile boat wedding on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The bride went down the aisle in a traditional white Velani bridal gown, while the groom opted to honor his Scottish ancestry by wearing a traditional red-plaid kilt. The actress announced her engagement to Roberts on Instagram in January 2021, writing:
“Okkkkkk… He’s finally arrived. Official Instagram account [sic]. I adore you, baby x.”
Ferrier revealed her engagement to Roberts, with whom she had a 14-month-old daughter, Ava Grace, one month ago. Their daughter donned a lovely small flower crown as one of the wedding’s two flower girls.

After being together for two years, the Bravo alum and longtime Below Deck boss strewedess got engaged to Roberts in November 2020. The couple announced their engagement only weeks after the birth of their daughter, Ava Grace. Ferrier detailed the couple’s journey in her wedding speech, revealing that their love story started in a Sydney pub after she finished shooting Below Deck Mediterranean, season 4.
“We drank a glass of wine, then went out to dinner the following night, and then met up for drinks after the races the next night. And then we basically spent seven days seeing each other for something different every day.”
She also said that when they intended to spend an evening apart, they ended up watching the same TV program and messaging about it the whole time. Roberts was unaware that she was on a reality program, but that didn’t matter. He said to E! News:
“I believe she’s very much who she is on the program,” she says, “but it’s clearly a performance.”
It wasn’t easy for the pair to be parents to a small girl while still organizing a wedding. Ferrier regarded her days as “hectic,” saying:
“We had a disastrous wedding planner who took on our wedding and then did nothing for the next six weeks. So the whole wedding was arranged in the final four weeks.”
She also said that her husband wanted to cut down on wedding preparations since they didn’t have much time, but she didn’t want to give up on their ideal wedding. Fortunately, she found a new planner, and their “sheer drive” to work things out improved the wedding.
Caroline, a local celebrant, oversaw the couple’s wedding ceremony, which Ferried described as “wonderful.”
“She’s warm and kind, but she also gets our sense of humor. That, and avoiding a “strict” ceremony. I believe the words’margarita’ and ‘tequila’ appear twice in her speech before she marries us.”

Ferrier was fired from Below Deck Mediterranean after season five in 2013, and she went on to concentrate on her romance with Roberts and her road to parenthood.
